INTRAMURAL PROGRAM

Program Description

Our intramural program is our largest program, consisting of over 200 players divided among 5 leagues based on grade and gender. 

Leagues

The following leagues are offered:

3rd/4th Grade Boys
5th/6th Grade Boys
7th/8th Grade Boys 
High School (Grades 9-12) Boys
3rd-6th Grade Girls*
*Girls in 5th/6th grades should tryout for the travel team in an effort to keep the league balanced.

In most years, but based on enrollment, each league typically has 4 teams, with the exception of the high school league, which usually has 8 to10 teams.

Schedule

Practices begin in November and are held on weeknights, usually in one of the Hyde Park Schools. Games begin in December and are held at Regina Coeli, with the exception of the high school league, which holds games at Haviland Middle School. The season ends in March. While the schedule is subject to change, the following is a list of typical game times for the intramural leagues:

3rd/4th Grade Boys - Friday nights
5th/6th Grade Boys - Saturday afternoons
7th/8th Grade Boys  - Saturday nights
High School Boys - Saturday afternoons
3rd-6th Grade Girls - Sunday afternoons

Uniforms

All players receive a Regina Coeli CYO t-shirt, which must be worn in each game. Players should also wear sneakers and bring a water bottle.
