CLINIC

Program Description

Our instructional clinic is designed to introduce the game of basketball and teach fundamental skills. Dribbling, passing, and shooting, as well as teamwork and sportsmanship are the focus. Players participate in drills that teach specific basketball skills and emphasize fun. Coaches also teach basketball concepts and vocabulary. By the end of the season, players will be scrimmaging.

Grade Levels

The clinic targets 2nd grade boys and girls. When space is available, 1st graders are accepted into the program. 

Schedule

The clinic is held at Regina Coeli once a week on Sunday afternoons from December to March. If the number of players registered warrants an additional clinic, a weeknight session will be scheduled. When this occurs, players will be assigned to attend one clinic session, not both.

At the conclusion of the season, a team party will be held and players receive medals.

Uniforms

All players receive a t-shirt and a basketball. Players should wear their shirt and bring their basketball to each clinic session. Players should wear sneakers and bring a water bottle.
